Where We Started
Kiwi Pavers Inc, run by Regan McLean, specializes in interlocking pavers for driveways, patios, and pools, as well as retaining walls, landscape lighting, gazebos, and fire pits. KPI is a family-run business in Contra Costa County and prides itself on its reliable communication, commitment to service, and quality craftsmanship at affordable prices.
Regan, a New Zealand native, moved to CA and spent 17 years in construction and lighting. Throughout his years in construction, Regan gained a vast knowledge of his trade but was often surprised by overcharging and shoddy work. He hoped to one day open his own business based on affordable prices and ethical business practices. A near-fatal neck injury and miraculous recovery inspired Regan to follow his passion and create his own business.
A Buffalo, NY native, Regan’s wife, Kate, moved to CA in 1999 and spent 18 years teaching high school. Kate will be your first point of contact, and she always looks forward to scheduling your free consultation. Their three children, Sean, Keara and Ollie love to "help" with construction projects at home, but won’t be found on the job just yet as they have to finish elementary school first.
